Announced today, the Indonesia Geothermal Energy World Conference, July 22-23, 2009 will be held in Bali, Indonesia.

Taking its center stage in Bali, the INDONESIA GEOTHERMAL ENERGY WORLD Conference is packed with geothermal experts from around the world including Indonesian regulatory bodies, key industry players and investors presenting key issues on business opportunities, market developments as well as exploration and production of geothermal power in Indonesia.

In capitalising Indonesia’s geothermal sector, it is critical for the geothermal stakeholders, especially foreign investors, to keep up with the latest policies and regulations surrounding the sector and to comprehend the complexity of geothermal investment transactions in Indonesia, from pre-feasibility study through tender processes, to financial requirements and the due dilligence.

The Conference takes place from July 22-23 at the Le Meridian Nirwana Resort in Bali, Indonesia. There will be a pre-conference workshop on July 21 and the possibility of a site visit to the Bedugul Geothermal Field in Bali on July 24, 2009.
