San Francisco, Golden Gate Bridge
GeoPower Americas, a financial and investment conference on the geothermal sector in the Americas is taking place February 15-17, 2010.

As part ThinkGeoEnergy’s ongoing relationship with the GeoPower events, I am herewith pleased to extend an invitation for the GeoPower Americas conference, which takes place February 15-17, 2010 in San Francisco, U.S.

In cooperation with the organizers I can offer a 20% discount for Think GeoEnergy readers – please quote reference ‘TGE20′ when registering.

The following is text from the official invitation of the organizers.

Geothermal energy could one day provide one-fifth of America’s power according to a recent M.I.T study (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and can be retrieved essentially anywhere in the United States. South America is also recognized as a prominent global “hot spot” for geothermal energy, especially Chile, which last week granted nine new geothermal exploration permits with an approximate investment value of US$8 billion.

Green Power Conferences have built on the success of last year’s Geothermal Innovation & Investment conference by inviting representatives from across North and South America to discuss new business opportunities in the burgeoning geothermal industry. Attend GeoPower Americas 2010 for unparalleled networking opportunities and the opportunity to meet face to face with top government officials, developers and investors.
