The opening of tender offers will be held on May 29 and the total execution time of the entire work is nine consecutive months and the planned investment of 6,000,000 pesos.

The Office of the Ministry of Federal Planning, under the agreement signed with Neuquén, through the Investment Promotion Agency (ADI-NQN) announced the launch international tender to advance work on the geothermal potential of Domuyo, which will promptly be made in conjunction with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The new studies include the performance of services in geology, geophysics and geochemistry at surface levels, in order to develop a conceptual model of the geothermal field and determine the potential of the geothermal resources for generating electricity on a commercial scale.

By applying these technologies it is also intended to identify geothermal phenomena and determine the technical, economic and environmental conditions that ensure the sustainability of the resource.

Adding to the studies already undertaken to determine the feasibility of Colo Michicó and Los Guiones in the upper basin of Neuquén River, it is expected to be able to create a project for hydro-geothermal generation of not less than 100 MW of installed capacity.

The total execution time of the entire work is nine consecutive months and the planned investment of 6,000,000 pesos.

The opening of tender offers will be held on May 29 at 11 Adolfo Alsina 424, Piso 3 Department. B of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. In this location interested parties may withdraw the specifications of the competition.
